SOUNDSCAPES CONCERT SERIES: http://soundscapes.us
=======================================================================
Friday, April 3, 8:00 pm, the Soundscapes Concert Series reboots at
Connexions Gallery, 213 Northampton St, Easton, Pennsylvania 18042
with Bernhard Wöstheinrich (Germany).

Bernhard's solo project is called "The Redundant Rocker" and his main
collaborator is Markus Reuter in CENTROZOON. He has also worked with
Ian Boddy, Klaus Hoffmann-Hoock, No-Man singer Tim Bowness, Conrad
Schnitzler (Cluster, Tangerine Dream), Synapscape's Philipp Münch, and
many more.

Bernhard elicits meaning from abstraction in electronic music and
painting. He has studied graphic design and has created an eclectic
body of work in both graphics and music. Using a compositional approach
akin to his work as a visual artist, Bernhard usually begins by
improvising abstract sonic structures which are subsequently developed
into an increasingly detailed aural picture.

The Soundscapes Concert Series is the concert companion to the Galactic
Travels™ radio program on WDIY-FM and to Thought Radio™ on WMUH-FM and
presents electronic music to the Lehigh Valley. This is the concert
series that presented Broekhuis, Keller & Schonwalder (Germany), Wave
World (Netherlands), Dean DeBenedictis & Vic Hennegan (California),
Bernhard Wöstheinrich (Germany), Robert Rich (California), vidnaObmana
(Belgium), The Ministry of Inside Things (Philadelphia), Richard
Lainhart (New York), Orbital Decay (Quakertown), Mark Jenkins (UK),
Mikronesia (Philadelphia), Tim Motzer (Philadelphia), The Tangent
Project (Philadelphia), Technicolor Travel Agency (Poconos), Genetique
(Phildelphia), Hunter & Harrison (NJ), Vic Hennegan (California), and
Twyndyllyngs (Lehigh Valley) to local audiences.

=======================================================================
The 68th Annual Festival of Bands will take place on Sunday, April 26,
2:30 pm at the Northampton Area High School Auditorium, 1619 Laubach
Avenue, Northampton, PA, 18067.

The Festival of Bands is an annual concert held in the Lehigh Valley.
Each year, 100 musicians from four area concert bands, the Allentown
Band, the Marine Band, the Municipal Band, and the Pioneer Band,
combine to present a spectacular concert to highlight music in our
community and also raise awareness to the needs of children and adults
with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

This year's theme is: Rock, Roll, and Remember.

Please visit the band website for the schedule as well as maps and
directions to all events.
