The story concerns madcap antics aboard an ocean liner bound from New York to London. Billy Crocker is a stowaway in love with heiress Hope Harcourt, who is engaged to Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. Nightclub singer Reno Sweeney and Public Enemy #13 Moonface Martin aid Billy in his quest to win Hope. The musical introduced such songs as "Anything Goes," "You're the Top," and "I Get a Kick Out of You." MUNICIPAL BAND OF ALLENTOWN http://municipalband.org ======================================================================= The next concert by the Municipal Band of Allentown will be at Northampton Area High School as part of the 65th Annual Festival of Bands. On Sunday, April 30, 2:30 pm, we will play our first concert of the year. We will play as part of the 100-member band comprised of musicians from the four Allentown bands; The Allentown Band, The Pioneer Band, the Marine Band, and, of course, the Municipal Band of Allentown. The four bands combine to highlight music in our community and to raise awareness of the needs of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This year, the concert's theme is Broadway Show Stoppers.
