COMING THIS WEEK:
R&G Acoustic Co.
=======================================================================
R&G Acoustic Co. are Rod Gilkeson and Greg Van Allen, both of Pulse.
They will be playing tomorrow, Friday 12/7 at a really neat place in
Orefield called The Orchard Meat & Fish Company. Years ago, it used to
be the House of Strawberries, and they since gutted it and turned it
into a great restaurant with a very cool ski-chalet type barroom. They
play from 6 pm to 10 pm. Here are the directions:
Take 309 north from Route 22 and go thru two traffic lights. After you
pass underneath the Turnpike overpass, hang a left onto Snowdrift Road.
The Orchard is about a mile down on the right.

RED:
=======================================================================
The acoustic power duo RED consists of Karl Eisenhart (guitar and
vocals from Pinnacle) and Chris Michels (violin, mandolin, and vocals).
Red returns to the Inn at Bear Creek all December.
Friday, December 7th
Thursday, December 13th
Thursday, December 20th
Friday, December 28th
All shows start at 8:30 (or so)
Check out the website for directions and nice pictures.

Reservations are suggested if you wanna eat.
Ski season should be starting up this Friday, as well, so bring your
mittens and...whatever else skiers wear these days. And for those of
you who might be getting just a wee bit sick of some of the tunes
they've been doing for a while, so are they. But never fear, they have
six brand new ones and more on the way.
THE AM/FM SHOW ON WMUH: http://soundscapes.us/amfm
=======================================================================
My next stint on the AM/FM Show will be Saturday, December 8 at 6:00
am. I will continue the special on E-dition Electronic Music
Magazine's sampler CDs. I will continue with the last issue so this
special is drawing to a close soon. What's next? ;-)
Tune in to WMUH Allentown at 91.7 FM, broadcasting from the campus of
Muhlenberg College. I alternate hosting the show with Bruce. When I
am at the helm, the show features electronic, ambient, and spacemusic
at the beginning, an eclectic mix of genres in the middle, and winds
up with Progressive Rock. WMUH's web site is

PULSE: http://soundscapes.us/pulse
=======================================================================
I am sad to report that the Broad Street Tavern gig on Saturday,
December 8, has been canceled. The tavern has closed for a transition
in ownership.
If you want to hear Pulse one more time before 2008, throw a party and
hire us to play. Nothing is better than live music at a party!
As always, please visit our website to find maps, directions, and other
information about wach club we play.
PULSE plays at the level of a tribute band without specializing on any
one band. This is no mean feat! This high caliber Classic Rock band
plays the music of Steely Dan, Santana, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Moody
Blues, Jethro Tull, Blues Brothers, Beatles, and other top shelf
groups. The group includes Greg Van Allen (guitars and vocals), Rod
Gilkeson (vocals), Bob Ashmore (Keyboards), Bill Fox (bass and vocals),
and Billy Fenstermacher (drums and vocals).
MUNICIPAL BAND OF ALLENTOWN: http://MunicipalBand.org
=======================================================================
The Holiday Dinner Concert will be on Sunday, December 9. Details and
reservation form/poster are at the website. $32 gets you a fabulous
buffet, a more fabulous concert of holiday music, and a whole lot of
good cheer. All this and conveniently located at the Days Inn on Route
309 off of Route 22. Don't waste any time and make your reservation
TODAY!!
On Tuesday, December 11, the band will play a holiday concert at the
Good Shepherd Home.
