NEEMFEST - NORTHEASTERN ELECTRO-MUSIC FESTIVAL:     http://neemfest.org
=======================================================================
NEEMFEST retuns to the Center for the Arts in Homer, NY, near
Courtland. This will be a three day festival on September 6 - 8. It
includes concerts, seminars, demonstrations, jam sessions, and a
synthesizer petting zoo. This year, there will be a raffle for a
Blackbox 1010music sampling workstation valued at $599. Special guests
include Chords of Orion (Bill Vencil) and, by Skype, Alex Ball of Alen
Ball Music.

The scope is very broad, covering all aspects of electro-music:
experimental electronic music, circuit bending, computer music,
electro-jazz, modular synthesis, musique concrete, improvisation,
algorithmic composition, multi-media, visual art and much more. The
focus will be on participant involvement, sharing, community
development, audience education, and great music.

Included in the line up are Twyndyllyngs (Howard Moscovitz and me) and
Stochastic Whimsy (Brian Good and me).

REALLY TERRIBLE ORCHESTRA - PENNSYLVANIA: http://rto-pa.com
=======================================================================
RTO-PA will play a free concert on Thursday, September 12, 7:00 pm at
Kirkland Village. The address is 1 Kirkland Village Circle, Bethlehem,
Pennsylvania, 18017, and is next door to Bethlehem Catholic High
School. The concert is upstairs in the auditorium.

The RTO really isn't that bad! All we require from a potential member
is that they have a sense of humor, their own instrument, the ability
to read music, and a willingness to try. "Real" musicians are allowed
to join, however they are encouraged play a secondary instrument, not
their primary. We like having good musicians, because they can count!

The original RTO is in Scotland. You may investigate the original
intent at their website. http://thereallyterribleorchestra.com

MUNICIPAL BAND OF ALLENTOWN:                   http://municipalband.org

annual Holiday Concert and Social. Keep December 15th open for a 3:00
