Brown Ice House on Sand Island in Bethlehem on Saturday, March 3, 2018. Featuring a live performance from the Lehigh Valley's own TAVERN TAN. The seven members of TAVERN TAN play energetic roots rock & roll, the kind of music made for taverns, pubs, bars, juke joints, dancehalls, and WDIY anniversary parties! The band is made-up of Doug Ashby, Andrew Brubaker, Tom Aczel, Bill Melcher, Dan Provenzano, Dave Joachim, and Kevin Nickles. The event will also feature: A WDIY music soundtrack, raffles, delicious food catered by Café The Lodge in Bethlehem, and drinks courtesy of Kerrigan Brew. The Festival of Bands is an annual concert held in the Lehigh Valley. Each year, 100 musicians from four area concert bands, the Allentown Band, the Marine Band, the Municipal Band, and the Pioneer Band, combine to present a spectacular concert to highlight music in our community and also raise awareness to the needs of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
