(guitar and vocals). They will be at The Terrace on Friday June 20th
from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm. They could really use your support because
the owners are not sure if they want to continue with entertainment.
Your support could mean the difference between a venue that supports
live music and one that supports kareoke, a DJ, or no music at all.

The acoustic power duo RED consists of Karl Eisenhart (guitar and
vocals from Pinnacle) and Chris Michels (violin, mandolin, and vocals).

THE AM/FM SHOW ON WMUH: http://soundscapes.us/amfm
=======================================================================
My next stint on the AM/FM Show will be Saturday, June 28 at 6:00 am.
I will continue the special on Sequences Electronic Music Magazine's
sampler CDs.

Tune in to WMUH Allentown at 91.7 FM, broadcasting from the campus of
Muhlenberg College. I alternate hosting the show with Bruce. When I
am at the helm, the show features electronic, ambient, and spacemusic
at the beginning, an eclectic mix of genres in the middle, and winds
up with Progressive Rock. WMUH's web site is
http://muhlenberg.edu/wmuh

PULSE: http://soundscapes.us/pulse
=======================================================================
Pulse will be at the Maingate for their Bike Night on Tuesday,
August 14. Doors open at 6 pm and music starts at 7. It is important
that people attend live music performances or else the clubs stop
hiring living, breathing musicians. And you don't need to ride a
motorcycle to attend, either!

As always, please visit our website to find maps, directions, and other
information about each club we play.

PULSE plays at the level of a tribute band without specializing on any
one band. This is no mean feat! This high caliber Classic Rock band
plays the music of Steely Dan, Santana, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Moody
Blues, Jethro Tull, Blues Brothers, Beatles, and other top shelf
groups. The group includes Greg Van Allen (guitars and vocals), Rod
Gilkeson (vocals), Bob Ashmore (Keyboards), Bill Fox (bass and vocals),
and Billy Fenstermacher (drums and vocals).

PINNACLE: http://pinnacleband.com
=======================================================================
We've been asked to contribute a track to Tuonen Tytär Volume 2 which
pays tribute to Progressive Rock of the '70s from Finland. The final
mix has been sent in for this compilation to be released on Musea
Records later this year.

On Friday, September 12, Pinnacle will open for Polish band Riverside.
Riverside will be playing at two music festivals in September and this
is their only non-festival show in North America this year. So catch
them while you can. Pinnacle will unveil some new music that night and
proceeds from this concert benefit the Metlar Bodine House Museum in
New Jersey. So while you're having fun, you can save history, too!

Reactions to Meld, our latest CD, is overwhelmingly great! We think
you're in for a real treat when you buy the CD! Order two or more
from CD Baby at http://cdbaby.com/group/pinnacleband and save 20%.

MUNICIPAL BAND OF ALLENTOWN: http://MunicipalBand.org
=======================================================================
On Friday, June 6, the Municipal Band of Allentown will be at the
Bethlehem Rose Garden. Concert time is 7:30 pm.

Sunday, June 8, at 6:00 pm, the band performs at Emmaus Community Park.
You can listen from the covered pavillion of from your picnic. Food
vending is available if you're too ruched to pack a picnic dinner.

Both concerts are FREE and outdoors!

OTHER STUFF:

PULSE: http://soundscapes.us/pulse
=======================================================================

=======================================================================

"Meld" has been at iTunes for a while. Now "A Man's Reach..." is now
at iTunes, too! If you have iTunes on your computer, go to:

How To Get Airplay On One Of My Shows

All submissions are welcomed and will be seriously considered for inclusion on future shows. Nothing can be returned. Due to the large volume of materials received, confirmation of receipt of materials and confirmation of airplay cannot be made. I also cannot provide comments or an analysis of your music. Unfortunately, there isn't enough time in the day for me to listen to everybody's mp3 files. I already have stacks of CDs waiting to be heard. Do NOT email files. You'll have to decide for yourself if your music fits the format of any of my shows. These are the cruel realities I've had to face. Show descriptions are in the signature below.

To learn if your submission has been aired, you should periodically check the Playlists or request to have them emailed to you if you don't already see them on one of the mailing lists where I post such things. I also post all my playlists in a blog. Please visit .

Remember, BEFORE YOU SEND ANYTHING, please examine my playlists to see what I tend to play. I don't want you to waste your precious resources, so please don't send something that I don't play (thrash, rap, or dance music, for example). ALWAYS match what you send to a show's format or ethos.

Send your package to WDIY and/or WMUH and/or me. Please be sure to tell me which address you use. Anything sent to a station will go into that station's library for use only at that station. You must tell me if you send to a station so I know where to look for your package. Anything sent to me will go into my personal library for use only on my appropriate shows at either station. Your best bet to get on one of my shows the fastest is to send your CDs directly to me. They get into my hands *MUCH* faster and it gives me plenty of time to preview your music. If your music is appropriate to other shows, then you might wish to send to the stations.

I can NOT download your music or burn CDRs for you and I can NOT use compressed files. Neither WDIY nor WMUH provide the means to play files. You must supply a full fidelity (uncompressed) audio CD or CDR. Other formats, such as Vinyl, cassette, and DAT are acceptable but they are less friendly than CDs.

Please be aware that CD and CD-R in regular sized jewel cases are considered to be the most radio-friendly formats at this time. CD players are much easier to use than any other format. Anything that doesn't fit into my CD travel case, which holds standard sized jewel cases, is difficult to bring to the station. Jewel cases also provide a spine that is large enough to see the CD artist and title when I'm trying to find something stored with hundreds of other CDs. Any other packaging style is likely to receive less airplay than something in a jewel case. The most important items to include on the artwork include:

A numbered track listing that shows the running time of each track.
A clear indication of the release's artist.
A clear indication of the release's title.
Contact information.
Want to maximize your CD's airplay? A few more tips you might want to follow are at:
http://soundscapes.us/afterglow/tips.html

Long tracks are not easy to excerpt unless you subdivide them into more than one index number. A CD that has one 50 minute track is not going to get as much airplay as multiple tracks that total 50 minutes. The tracks can run together with continuous sound but now DJs have *easy* access to more than just the beginning of the piece.

All submissions are always greatly appreciated. But please do yourself a favor and study the various sections of all my radio web sites first, then decide if your music really fits in with the show's format.

I play Progressive Rock on two shows, eclectic mix on two shows, and EM on two shows, spread across three shows on two radio stations in the Lehigh Valley. Please be sure to leave a note in the package you send to specify which show(s) here you want to target your music. Your support is most appreciated.

Cheers,

Bill - http://soundscapes.us/bill - http://myspace.com/billfox
